2. INNOVATION: Commitments to Action should approach challenges, both global and local, in unique and/or novel ways. In what ways is your commitment innovative? How does your approach differ from or build upon the approaches of others, and why is it more effective? 3. SUSTAINABILITY: Sustainability, broadly defined, is often a characteristic of Commitments to Action. Please describe how your commitment achieves sustainability in the area(s) most applicable to your commitment:

-Environmental Sustainability (preservation and responsible use of natural resources)
-Economic Sustainability (the ability to sustain and expand an initiative over time without requiring continuous external support)
-Social Sustainability (empowerment, equity, and investment of all stakeholders)

4. PARTNERSHIPS: Partnerships can help support, expand, and sustain commitments. If you have developed any partnerships as a part of this commitment (eg student group, faculty, administrators, community members, NGOs, etc), please list their names and briefly describe your relationship with each. 5. IMPLEMENTATION: Please identify any limitations or challenges associated with your commitment’s proposed strategies. How do you and/or your group propose to address these challenges? (word limit: 150) *
6. IMPACT: Commitments to Action should have a measurable and lasting impact on pressing global challenges. What are the tangible outcomes your commitment will produce, and how will you measure your progress? Fiscal Sponsor
If you are a recipient of a CGI U Outstanding Commitment Award, you will need a 501c3 fiscal sponsor who can process your grant. This fiscal sponsor can be an academic department, a center on campus, or a non-profit in your local community. If you are an international applicant, you will also be required to identify a fiscal sponsor which is a tax-exempt organization similar to a 501c3 in the US.
